Was REALLY impressed with "The Value of Life", maybe more so because I've felt like the "black sheep, because everyone else in my family has been so successful and I struggle" and so could very much relate to Rem. Loved Rem's opinion changed and Ram's is still "Kazuma's a scumball".

Mild spoiler: Making me pick between Yunyun and Chris for the end of the festival is devilish work ;-;
Honestly at some point I just kinda decided to dodge all the ero scenes I could to focus on grinding sometimes when I'm not in the mood and it's made the experience a lot more smooth overall since I'm not really worried about the days till jail and have decent equipment now to pursue the events and such.
The scenes are, in all honesty, lacking in the sfx department (it often just sounds like someone is shaking a bottle of water way too fast and it's almost better just turning the sound off,) but I'm enjoying the writing/gameplay when it's not...talking about precum glistening in the moonlight or trying it's hardest not to just say "tip." or "dick." and ruining the vibe a lil.
Good game overall :P

Another quick report, i played around a bit more and the boon the gives buffs on being hit is half useless. The issue here is that if you get like a regeneration buff then you're in the good, but if it'll be def or atk you wouldn't really be able to use them because they expire just the moment buffed character acts (with def itsn not *completely* unusable but in cases with getting that buff on the last attack before you get to act it is at this point)

I am literally 21 and the legal age is 18. The game just doesnt load and if i click i get the error that it crashed.

SUGGESTION:
make the mobile version use a folder for savegames that is not under /Android/data. these can not be accsessed in later Andriod Versions (even with adb or X-plore)
e.g. use Android/media so we can copy/paste savefiles from/to PC

If you make doppels capable of copying our level, skills and equipment, then MAKE THEIR MP AND HP LIMITED TO OURS TOO DAMN IT (yes im salty cuz my entire party killed themselves off of my darkness, point is still there tho)

Giving them MP is probably a good idea, health is a little trickier since heroes and monsters are balanced very differently

Well the problem with HP is tricky here to begin with, tho thats only if you upgrade dakness enough. Its just that HER retaliation capabilities work against the team with dopps existence, because enemies dont do much dmg on their own so yiu dont retaliate much dmg even with a basic skill counter-attack (if any cuz immunities), but when YOUR allies have to deal with this effect, stuffed darkness does this:

-Remove any buffs (btw the greatest cheese of Jibrils need to charge attacks) OR makes any attacks on you crits

-Remove evasion (cuz in no hell you're gonna evade under +50% acc) OR 75% fear 

-Do all that to your WHOLE SQUAD (or if you're too much boss focused all that and 75% confusion to one of your squad, tho considering everything now you cant even attack if not in fear already)

With riposte she just shots your allies (high str and +50% mark)

With thorn passive and thorn chestplate she returns more dmg than receives. (somhw, even tho she shouldn't, effect returns 50% dmg but ig it upgrades to 125 when doubled or som? idk)

And all that is just offensives, if you go turtle mode on her instead she makes enemies basically unkillable (especially in the LABIRINTH with their infinite buffs to reposte dmg or ignore it at all)

Just came to say I've tried AGAIN months later to download and play this game and the .exe still does nothing for me.
Not sure what to do about it since it seems like a personal problem, even though every other game I've downloaded on this site works fine. Well except one.

I looked up just a bit. Try to check your PC username, if it have non-english (non ASCII to be specific) characters, change them to english ones (some symbols and standard digits allowed). It may not be the problem but guys said renpy doesnt work until you do that, and, who knows, maybe you havent played renpy games from this site?

I definitely have played a lot of renpy games here, and the weird username thing doesn't apply either. The only other game I've had this issue with was Isekai Brothel.

Windows defender? Did you check list of recent actions in "security"? I sometimes get my .exe isolated even with defender turned off

I went into windows defender and specifically added and then allowed Renpy and the exe. Still can't get anything.

Is your system a 32-bit or 64-bit, by any chance?

Update: I ran windows troubleshooter on the .exe, and initially it failed, but after resetting it and trying again, it somehow got the game to launch? 
I think I might be in the clear, though I have no idea WHY this worked.
At least if anyone else has this issue later you can recommend trying this.

Hey, quick rep there. Idk if it was the same way before, but now with new effects its obvious that pressing the additional point even without having more to add or any at all refreshes the effects (that pulsation of aiming and aura as well). When you have none its ok but with aura it starts lagging a bit (not that much of problem since you, well, dont usually spam a button that should do nothing for you, but it is what it is i think)

P.s.: also loading screens became SOOO much longer, locations loaded within a second before and now i wait like 4-7 seconds (playing on Poco F6)

P.p.s: btw new "name input" box is cool but it doesnt downslide the keyboard like the previous one did (or am i schizo and it didnt? i cant say for sure but i think it did before)

P.p.p.s.: skill descriptions and bonus count (combo aura thingy) at the bottom of the screen are completely gone too now

The loading screens are now also waiting for textures to load as an optimization measure, previously all it had to wait for was dungeon generation. So it's not a problem per se.

Downslide the keyboard? I'm not sure I understand.

On android when you trigger a text input screen keyboard shows up, and iirc on previos version it correctly slid back once you typed in whatever you needed, but now keyboard just stays on the screen so yiu kinda have to touch the screen and that causes next lines in a dialogue. Not *much* of a problem but just not convenient y'know

Looks like you’re playing version 0.2.0 . I ran into similar error when playing the labyrinth in that version but it has been fixed in 0.2.1

Hi pastry. Thanks for the 0.2.1 update. Really enjoyed it so far especially the story progression, yunyun, and rem. However, I ran into some issues. I tried to finish the labyrinth. At around level 12 I ran into errors similar to this

I played the android version. I chose ‘Ignore’ when it appears, and the game will load with the same level as previous one, but the level number still increased, and enemies or items that has previously been cleared aren’t present, so I could continue with the same path selection. You might want to check this

Yeah there seems to be an issue with floors 10 and above. Will fix it in the next release, thank you for the report! Glad you've enjoyed the game so far :)

The labyrinth is infinite and aside from the Watchers on each floor doesn't have any special bosses... yet

Just played through again. Very happy with the QOL change to combat that saved my thumbs a lot of pain.

Couple of new QOL suggestions though:

- make a WARNING when you are about to travel without maximum group assigned (too many times i had to load autosave because Kazuma went spelunking solo)

- remember previous lineup. (Tad annoying to have to reselect the entire group i want to send every time).

- remember last skill used (not that big of a deal, but was a bit annoying with yunyun where I had her finish off the birdppl and then next encounter I had to reselect her lightning again from her 3 abilities - would be cool if it just had it auto selected after I went into her skills menu)

- bigger hit box for the brown text (especially during combat where i couldn't rewind, so had to go check the log to see what the Gabs mind reading shit would add)

- INHERIT ITEMS... if you make it remember previous lineup, allow it to have a "inherit" option when switching out, for example, megumin for yunyun. So that the new person just automatically wears all the items of the one you switched out. (This isnt really that big of a deal, but would be cool).

- Make "Mansion" have tags when in city. Such as "Event!". Again not a big deal, but would be nice. 

As always - great game and love the work you've put into it. Just thought I'd give some suggestions for things I really wanted while playing through it again.

Game crashed when i tried to use Drain Touch when fighting with Rem against the Dire wolves. my entire PC siezed as well due to this, causing some insane issues. had to forcefully shut down my PC which is no-bueno. you have to look into this.

I have a humble request, can you please make a separate volume slider for combat music? It gets repetitive. I like the rest of the soundtrack, so I don't want to disable all music in the game

Genuinely surprised at the quality, incredible job at not paywalling anything, the writing jokes and H scenes are surprisingly entertaining and pretty good. Props to the developer for not being greedy and releasing such a fun game for free. Cant wait for more updates, awsome job!!

Hello Pastry! Been binging on this masterpiece for couple of days straight! Finally finished it. The combat system is very polished, potions were pretty useful right until late game. 

Hope there was a hard mode where everything will stay the same but the player's team take 50% more damage. Unlockable after finishing a normal mode. Finished the Resident Evil 8 game and it actually makes the game deeper in my opinion. A slight mistake of not taking a potion will kill you which increases engagement of the player.

I was not a fan of this franchise before. When I tried it I got it why it is good. That mode where you take more damage feels like it adds depth to the game.

Maybe it's just me that loves grinding but when we look at numbers CS, LOL, Dota2, etc games are all grinding games.

I think it is not hard to add recieving damage multiplier maybe I'm wrong. So why am I suggesting the hard mode? I fell in love with the combat system, wish it was a bit harder. This is my first H-Visual novel and I thought "EWw H-game". Turns out it is a cool genre. Thank you for taking my innocence to the genre with your game sir!

Oh, bugs, during whole gameplay the game crashed once. And I was amazed that it does not close the window at all, you just jump to previous decision. Everything was fluid and no freezes. I played on a PC win10.

Also a couple of bosses added in coliseum that are like 10 times stronger would be cool too. Saw lots of Hades references. Love those 2 game too. That coliseum boss fights are from Hollow knight game right? I defeated several bosses in that game but not even 50% of them. There's just too much bosses in that game! Like 20+ or smh.

I'll think about adding a hard difficulty mode! The underlying mechanics are already included for that, so it's just a matter of numbers now really
